Mary Jane Davidson was married in 1875, to George B. Stitt, in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. She lived a short time in Nevada, then made a permanent residence in Bellevue, Blaine, Idaho. She is buried there with her husband. Mary Jane and George had 9 children together. Mary Jane was a nurse and a midwife, she delivered several babies in the Bellevue area.
