Mary Brien is listed as the mother of my great grandfather's sister (Margaret Hanrahan) in the baptismal records of Ballyneale parish, Tipperary County on May 29, 1839.   See the attached sketch of her gravestone that is shared with her husband (John Hanrahan the Elder).  She emigrated to Canada during the Famine and is first seen in the 1861 Census for Normanby Township, Grey County Ontario.   She lived on Lot 42, Concession 3 of Normanby Township with her husband.
