Patrick Ryan, my great-great grandfather is believed to be born about 1818 in Nenagh, Tipperery, Ireland. His death certificate lists his father's name aa R. Ryan and his mother's name as Mae. He immigrated to the United States in 1848, settling first in West Virginia and then in Michigan. Later, about 1853 or 1854, his brother, Hugh Ryan immigrated to Michigan with his wife Julia Beatty from Ballinasloe, COunty May, Ireland. Seeking information regarding Patrick and Hugh and their ancestors or descendants.
