Richard and his wife Rachel had at least 5 children while they lived at Mullahead Townland, Co Armagh between 1825 and 1835. Richard was a weaver and he and his wife were living in Ballyworkan Townland when she died in 1870. Richard died 16 years after her of 'Senile Decay, a long time coming' in the Lurgan workhouse.
