Briefly; He was born in Enniskillen. He married Honora Frawley from Dromin Limeric on 19 Sept 1838.
He didn't emigrate to Australia he was sent a member of the military
As a Private in 11th Infantry of Foot he accompanied convicts to Norfolk Island. The sailed to Hobart Tasmania. The 11th were transferred to NSW and he died at Blackheath in the Blue Mts west of Sydney. He left a wife Honora and children, Mary, Robert, Margaret and Catherine. Margaret Wade nee Crawford was my great grandmother. His tomb stone still exists in a special part of the Blackheath cemetary although it has been moved twice from the original position because of road works over the last 100+years.
