Roger McKeough and Jane MacNamara, from Templeachilly and Gortlassabrien, had 4 children, James (1837), Anne (1838), Sarah and Cornelius (1843). James and Cornelius ended up in Salem Massachuestts, USA while Sarah and Ann ended up in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. James, my wife's great grandfather, emigrated to Salem in 1860 and almost immediately joined the Union Army in the Civil War. I've found Roger as a leaseholder in Griffiths until he apparently died ca. 1848. Subsequently Jane was shown as the leaseholder on the same plots of land. Charles J. Henry was the landlord. I have not been able to find a baptismal record for any one of the four children. All information came from subsequent records in Canada and the U.S.
