Thomas Chambers (1877 - 1939) is my maternal grandfather and was born at the family home in Upper Skerdagh, near Newport in County Mayo Ireland.
His father was John Chambers (1854 - 1932) and his mother Mary Chambers nee Gorman. (1851 - 1880) Mary died at a young age due to having measles during childbirth with the child aslo lost.
Mary had another son Patrick (1876 - 1932)
John Chambers (my great grandfather) remarried Mary Chambers nee Walsh (1855 - 1928) and they had several more children as family number 2.
