This man came to live in Minish(Moynish) townland a few miles east of Killarney after his marriage to Gobnait Counihan in 1805..He had 10 children born between 1807 and 1831. He was known as Tomãs na Comhlacht and is reputed to have been quite generous to locals during the great famine.He was a tenant of Lord Kinmare and had a lease on circa 30 acres of land and a dwelling with a few out offices.
