Thomas Pillon- 1800-1872

lived in or around Knocklong, Tipperary, Ireland (Believed to have been a shoemaker as the following 3 generations were.)

He married a Norra (Hanora) Anne Unknown in Lough Gur, Limerick, Ireland

Children- William C Pillon b. 1816,

               Nicholas Pillon b. 1822

               Patrick Pillon b. 1829 - See photo below:

The wife and 3 sons along with a girl named Hanora A Cleary (whom PATRICK MARRIED AFTER THEY ARRIVED IN THE US, see photo attached) immigrated to the US in 1850 (ship manifest). Thomas the father was either dead or had already immigrated to New York before them.  They lived in New York for a short time and then the 3 brothers moved to Cincinnati, Ohio (early 1850's)- ALL SHOEMAKERS and changed their last name to PILLMAN and PILMAN.

Thomas may have had family in Knocklong or and Limerick with first names of Elly, Jeremiah and William.
