Timothy Connor was born at Cork City Abt. 1780. His marriage on 11 June, 1803 to Anastasia (Ansty) Corcoran is recorded in the church records at St. Finbarr's, South. The record states that Ansty was from Gillabby, Cork and the witnesses were John Connor and Ellen Corcoran for the groom along with Nell Connor for the Bride. Five of their children have been identified to date. A son, Daniel was Baptized on 26 May, 1804, their daughter, Mary, on 26 May, 1807 with a notation of their residence being "Gullaby". Their son, Maurice was Baptized on 20 Jan. 1813, son Timothy J. on 15 Sep. 1815 and their daughter Ellen in May, 1825 - all at St. Finbarr's, South.
Maurice married Hannah Spillane, daughter of William Spillane and Ellen Meara, at St. Finbarr's, South on 14 August, 1841. Maurice and Hannah had Timothy (1844) Johanna (1847) Denis (1851) Mary (1852) Ellen ( 1857) Maurice F. (1857) William Henry (1858) and Dennis P. in 1861 before leaving for America in 1865 where they resided in Salem, Massachusetts.
Timothy J. Connor married Margaret Mahoney, daughter of James and Margaret (Sullivan) Mahoney at St. Finbarr's on 30 Sep. 1846. They had a son, Daniel F. before leaving for America in 1850. They also set up residence in Salem, Massachusetts where they had John (1851) Jeremiah J. (1853) Johanna (1854) Stephen James (1857) and Mary A. in 1861.
Ellen Connor left Cork City for America in 1850 where she married Martin Murphy in 1855. Ellen and Martin lived in Brooklyn, New York and had two sons, John (1857) and James (1860).
