William was born about 1795. He married Ann MORRISON who was born about 1797 in Enniskillen and they had 6 childen, all born in Enniskillen - Martha b 1817, William b bef 1823, Ann b 1823, Robert b bef 1826, Margaret b 1828 & Elizaberth b 1832. Sons William & Robert were baptised at Rossory Parish Church, Enniskillen. William is presumed to have died before 1850 which was when his wife and 4 children migrated to Australia - without mention of William. It is noted that son Wiliam's death record in Australia has his mother's maiden name as MORRIS. The address gven by the family when they emigrated in 1850 is Rosscarne, Ireland - possibly intended to be Rosscarn! Two of the children's death records have William's occupation as 'farmer'.
