The design of the building is very beautiful. It is the symbol of the culture.

The Kilkishen Cultural Centre was renovated and opened on 11 May 2014 after being closed as the Church of Ireland in 1964 and left in a state of disrepair until 2013. At that time, the Kilkishen Development Association purchsed the building from the Representative Church Body of Ireland and through the hard work of many volunteers and donations from home and abroad, began the work of renovating the Church to its former state.

The Church building now is the Kilkishen Cultural Centre and hosts a variety of events, classes and other activities for the surrounding areas of Kilkishen, Sixmilebridge, O'Callaghan's Mills and Kilmurry.
