I am wondering if anyone can locate Ballysmare or Ballysmere. It was involved in land transactions by the Stoney family in 1768-1770 and again in 1843 along with Aughagurty, which is easy to find.
Ballynasmear is a "subtownland" of Aughagurty townland.
