I have Kieran's DOB as 1846 (taken from his marriage certificate so I can understand why there is a years difference)

Hi  Patricia, I had previously been able to find that, my road block was Kieran's and his wife Mary's parents, I'm so grateful for the information you've given me, it allows me to re-start my searches 

One thing that I find unusual is that none of the Condron sons were named after the grandfathers. This was almost always done, with the first son being named after the paternal grandfather, the second son after the maternal grandfather.  

Hi Patricia, I'm wondering if Kieran wasn't the oldest child. I have a family trace of a Patrick his brother?
