I'm sorry that I never got to meet my great grandmother; everyone in the family spoke highly of her.

Kate was born in Limerick, Township of Cahalane, Parish of Ballybrood on March 13, 1858 and emigrated to the U.S.in 1889 where she married my great grandfather, William McCarthy.  Her parents were John Roche and Mary Moloney.  I recently found the death records for my great great grandparents and wondered where I could find their graves.  John Roche died 2/18/1897 and his residence is listed as Caher Lane.  Mary Moloney Roche died 3/24/1928 and her residence is listed as Abbeyfeale Hill.  Any information you could provide about these areas or where they could be buried would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Sandie,

Caherlane Abbeyfeale is where John and ary Roche were from. I think that you have Caherline Ballybrood and Caherlane Abbeyfeale confused. This is based on just reading your post so please correct me if I am wrong and their death records.

I have attached a screen shot of the baptisms of their children including a Catherine (Kate) born in 1868. Does that fit your timeline?

Given that they were from Abbeyfeale, I would concentrate on that town and the graveyards there. Not all of them are online but it is the best area to check.
