My ancestors were Quakers from Mountmellick. After Richard's death, Eliza came to Australia with two of her children. Her younger daughter, Anna Sophia, my GG grandmother came later. I would be interested in any information on them and their ancestors.

Elizabeth. My g.g.grandmother was Anne Wilson from outside mountmellick & in the same area there was Shannon families there too .Have you anything more on the Wilsons ie first names ect.

Dear Ballypierce,
Richard Shannon (1785 - 1851) was the son of William Shannon and Jane Pim. He married Elizabeth Wilson (1809 - 1887) in1830. She was the daughter of Isaac Wilson and Mary Shannon.
We are currently working on this tree and have traced descendants to Canada, USA and Australia.
