Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I looked at the 1911 census and found these two Rigney families in the Shannon Harbour area. If you can provide more specifics, we can attempt additional searches.

Loooking for info on my grandmother Mary Rigney, born abt 1894 in Birr. Came to New Zealand about 1914 with her sister Margaret (b Abt 1887/8) Married Soren Andersen from Denmark in 1919 at a church in Wellington New Zealand. Then they lived all the rest of their lives in Auckland NZ. Had brother Patrick who also came out to NZ after 1919. Also several other siblings (names uncertain). Not anythiing to do with Flannagan family, although our names keep crossing in many searches. Father was Thomas Rigney (?b 1831), and mother Mary Ann Troy. (?b 1855).

Lyn:
I searched on the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie for a civil birth record from 1890-1896 for a Mary Rigney in the Birr registration district and there was no record.
