Looking for my Grandparents

Do you know approximately when Mae and Daniel were born?

All I know at this point is that she died in 1927 and at that time was probably in her 50's or sixties. I have been told that a Mathew Richmond in Ireland contacted a Richmond in Maryland, USA but I'm just beginning to explore that connection.

I had checked the 1901 census and located a 1 year old May Wright in Co. Armagh. There were no Mae Wrights in Armagh. It looks like your Mae was born around 1870. Come back if you get more leads.

Found out that her name, at least in the US, was May Wright. My half sister was named after her. Also, found that Daniel Richmond was botn about 1853. Will get back to you when I have any more information. Thanks!

May's first child that I have dates for was born in 1893 and she had 5 children which I am contuning to research. Her son Harry was a Presbertarian minister and he is the one who came to Ireland to preach. All I remember my Dad saying was that he came back to the church his mother was baptised in in Armagh, but did not specify if it was the city or county.

Nancy-here it is years later,but I am just beginning my search. This is my info. My g-dad John Richmond came to America in 1907 at the age of 19. I know he lived with an Uncle or cousin in Maryland. His parents Daniel and Mary(?) lived in drumcon rasharkin. G-dad had an older brother Daniel(died at 15?) a sister Lizzie (who also came to u.s. Later) a brother Mathew and sister Martha. I believe my gg-momwas a Johnston or Johnson. Also heard my Ggg-parents were Daniel and Eliza (Sterling). Nothing is in writing, my 2 sisters and I are trying to put this together from memory. Any info will be much appreciated!
