There was an Andrew Piggot in Rinneen in 1826 for the Tithe survey, and in 1850 for the Griffiths Primary Valuation.

In this family Mary was the first to emigrate in 1907 to NYC, 1910 Norwich, Ct, Hartford Ct?by 1914. She married Patrick Kelly also of Rinneen.
Daniel emigrated to Hartford 1909 married Mary O'Connell/Connell possibly of Rinneen also.
Ellen/Hellen/Nellie arrived in Boston 1910 on the same boat was William E Silk of Springfield Mass who she later married.
Margaret Eillen arrived on the SS Philedelphia 1916 married Oscar Ruppert 1831 of the Bronx, NY.
Honorah "Nora" emigrated 1925 and lived with the Silks.Went back to Ireland. Returned to the U.S. by 1930 and stayed with the Rupperts.

Wonderful to see information on Piggott's. I had a Catherine Piggott in my family (my 4th great grandmother) and so far I have found it quite difficult to find informtation on them. All I know is that she died in Cashel, Tipperary Ireland. But at least now I know that there are definitely more Piggott's out there :)
