i am looking for members of the teehan family who live on barnaboy road.

specifically teehan's who live on or near the once  resident's of patrick phelan.

 

i plan to visit ireland last week of may and would like to visit the ancestral home of the phelan's.

  • Not sure if this is any help as there are lots of Phelan's in County Laois. We had a Patrick Phelan who was my mother's first cousin and emigrated to the States. This was possibly the 1920s as he was born 1900. We don't have Teehan but we do have Feehan in the family who lived close to the Phelans in Coolrain.

  • The Teehan, Phelan and Maher families were residents in Barnaboy for many years. The Maher house is still standing on the left just after the road from Ballaghmore swings to the left. Do you know where the Phelan house was?
