Looking for any information on my Great Grandfather Joseph P. Kean. Born about 1837, Roman Catholic, in Knockainey or in Kilcullane, Tullabracky, Herbertstown, Hospital area. Died in Chicago in 1887; married to Margaret Woods of Limerick.

Roger: thanks for the DNA suggestion. I did the autosomal DNA test last year; with an 98% Irish result I received literally thousands of matches, far too many to respond to. It's the spelling of my name of "Kean" that's the problem, I believe!
