I am searching for information on my 4th Great Grandfather and Mother - James Glass b. 1810 Clones, Monaghan. Maria Johnston b 1820

They were married on Feb 6, 1834  Eglish, Armagh, Northern Ireland.  I know that they came to America with their children - Maria L, William L and Martha on the St. George which left from Liverpool and arrived at NY on April 8, 1847.

I have been struggling to find any earlier information on them and was hoping someone might be able to help me out or point me in the right direction.

    I couldn't find any siblings for James or the parents' marriage record

    This could be Maria's given that she would have been 19 rather than 14 when married and as the wedding was in Armagh assumedly she was from there:

    No luck with siblings or the marriage record.

    I couldn't find either father in the Tithe Applotments or the early Irish Censuses
