My great grandfather, Patrick Connolly, was from Kings Co. according to family bible (Roman Catholic.) He married Ellen Hogan of Co. Carlow in 1860 in Newburgh NY, and settled in Cold Spring, Putnam Co. NY. He was born in 1833 & died in 1898 according to his gravestone. Thomas Connolly, is found in the 1900 US Census living in Cold Spring, NY listed as an uncle to my grandfather, John Connolly. (Thomas would be Patrick's brother.) Thomas is age 85 with his birth date given as March,1815. Without knowing the town in Kings Co.,I found a RC baptimal record on www.rootsireland.ie for a Patrick Conly on 05-Jan-1834, address, Ballymore, parish Kinnitty, parents Patrick Conly & Sally Flannigan. I'm wondering if this Conly family had a son, Thomas, born in 1815, so I could connect them to my Patrick. Thank you.

Unfortunately, Kinnitty parish RC records start in 1833. Unless Thomas was born in another parish that has records back to 1815, you will not locate a baptismal record for him.
