I have a Marcella Payne B1849 D 2 Oct 1929 in Ballard, Tullamore who married a Joseph Dix in 1874 & had 7 children -Marcella B1891 D 1896, Elizabeth B 12 Dec 1880, Mary B 13 Dec 1876, Thomas B 28 June 1882, Patrick B 14 March 1875, Margaret  B 16 Feb 1879 & Margaret Ann B 1 Feb 1887.

Marcella & Joseph Dix are in the 1911 census in Kilcruttin, Tullamore Urban, Kings Co.

Hope this helps - I am connected to the Dix Family side, Joseph is my 2x GG Uncle.

 Ivan Thomas house is known as Derrycooley house. Payne owned that property prior to Thomas purchase it.

John Mollin Willie Payne lived in Derrycooley. With Thomas’s I think. He had an old green Austin a 40. He owned the land in Tullamore where Churchill is built. I remember him calling to our house.

Damian White Whitfield was a name in Killoughey up to the 1960s/ early 70s. There is a lady in the parish who was Whitfield before she married.

John Looby I remember a Payne going to CBS in Tullamore. Few years ahead of me. Think they were related to Rahan/Derrycooley Paynes too.
