Cherry Family of Armagh, Ireland. Looking for Robert Cherry b.c. feb 1835, joined British Army, and served in the Maori Wars early 1860's. Married in Adelaide, Australia, in 1869 to Mary Ann Shanley and thought to have returned to Armagh with her, around 1870. May have been there in 1876. Mary had a family connection to the Cumine Parkinson family of Armagh through marriage.
Any-one with knowledge of what happened to Robert Cherry and wife, Mary Ann, I would be most pleased to hear of it. Cheers, Warren in Brisbane, Australia.
