I know that my Williams ancestors were part of Templeharry church with William, Robert and John Williams being baptised in 1804, 1811 and possibly 1805 and the children of Robert, from whom I am descended, baptised in the 1840s. There are still descendants from Robert in Cloughjordan today.
I am aware of the Modreeny graveyard where later Willams' are buried but I am wondering if there was ever a graveyard attached to Templeharry. I have looked at a couple of photos of the church and have seen a couple of stones near the church. If there is a graveyard have the 'occupants' been recorded or the stones photographed? I have an old piece of paper indicating my Gt Gt Aunt Maria Jane Williams was buried at Templeharry. I guess formal church deaths will be recorded in the registers that are now held in church HQ in Dublin.

HI Cathy
I am part of the Dunkerrin Reaching Out Group and i can confirm that there is a graveyard attached to Templeharry Church. Templeharry is between Moneygall and Cloughjordan (and incidently is where Barack Obama's ancestors who were from Moneygall attended Church). I will follow up your query with Henry Healy and Rev. Stephen O'Neil the Rector of Templeharry and we will let you know of any outcome. There are several Williams families living in the locality and we may be able to trace your relations.

Hi Dolores
Just wondering if you were able to track any Howards and or Gouldings down through Henry Healy and Rev. Stephen O'Neil?
My Howard, I am told, were more Templemore than Moneygalle while my Gouldings (2 or 3) boys and perhaps 3 or 4 girls rented nearby and lived in Moneygalle.
Charles Goulding - London Middlesex in Canada West
James Goulding father remained in Ireland
Gouldings of PEI (?)
Cheers
Blair
