So far I know that my relative was Michael Randall born1833 in Timahoe, Co. Laois . He immigrated to the US in 1865. He married Mary Murphy perhaps also from Laois in 1867 in Michigan, USA..They had 4 children. Mary died in 1877 and Michael married a Ellen Casey in 1878 . Ellen may also be from Laois. They had 5 children together and Ellen raised Mary children along with her own. Thats all I know so far. My husband I will be visiting Ireland July 2015 and will certsainly be visiting Timahoe. Thanks for any help in finding more facts .

I checked the Roots Ireland indexes for Michael Randall. There was no 1833 baptismal record in Co. Laois. I did locate an 1830 record in the Ballyadams RC church. The parents were James and Margaret. Ballyadams is the RC parish to the southeast of Stradbally which is the RC parish for the civil parish of Timogue. I have no idea if this is the correct record.
Do you have any other information on your Randall family?
