Im looking for relatives of William and Sarah Molloy. They had 11 children and lived in Durrow area on a 72 acre farm in a stone home. In 1914 ish, they migrated ot Canada. The house was sold to the bracken Family.

Deborah:
I assume you have the 1911 census record for the family in Ballybought townland. There were two other Molloy families in that townland in 1911.
You can look at the online Irish phone book for Molloys in the Durrow area. Make sure you search Residential" rather than Business.

Hi Roger, thank you for that information. I do not have a copy of the census. Do you know where I could find one? When I was in Ireland last, I stayed at the home of Anne Bracken who is the sister in law of Molly Bracken, the brother of Luke Bracken who inherited my great great grandparents home. I am trying to figure out what Sarah's maiden name was and there maybe records of the marriage at the church in Durrow.

Deborah:
Below is the 1911 census record. I'm going out for awhile but I will check on the marriage record later.

Looks like her maiden name was Kelly. You can get a copy of the record for around 4 euros from the General Register Office. The record will show the names of the fathers of the bride and groom and where the bride and groom lived in 1892. If you plan to get a copy let me know and I will forward instructions.
