  • Yes he did have a son James born 1859 in the Curragh Camp Co.Kildare but he sadly died 27 May 1861 once Peter had been posted back to woolwich. I always thought he had a brother James who was best man at Peter and Janes's wedding in Belfast. - hope this is helpful

  • Hi it was the army service corps - military train? he joined in ireland, which is how i got his age and place of birth. - he was discharged in woolwich where my great grandmother was born
