James Harrington, born about 1815 and died 26 Aug 1889 in Islandahoe, Derrykeighan Parish, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. He was married to Catherine Scally, believed to be the daughter of Henry Scally. They had ten children, five boys, five girls. Two adult male sons died in Northern Ireland and the rest of the children migrated to the US.
