Anthony McCarron was born on 1 Aug 1860 in the townland of Glennan in Donacavey/Fintona Parish.
He was one of 11 children of Felix McCarron (sometimes seen as McCarn) and of his wife Ann McMenamin . Eight of the 11 children emigrated to Lowell, Massachusetts in the USA between 1873 and 1895. He married in Lowell in 1891 to Catherine Teague, who had immigrated with her family about 1872, probably from Dromore Parish. Anthony and "Cassie" had two children in Lowell, Anna in 1893 and Felix in 1896. The above photo shows Anthony with his granddaughter Mary. Anthony McCarron died at Lowell on 1 Nov 1934.
