I am a direct descendent of Elinor or Eleanor Carroll, who was either the daughter of Anthony or Charles Carroll (called the Settler). I believe that Anthony and Charles were brothers, and they were the sons of Daniel Carroll or O'Carroll. I will be in Ireland in August and September and would love to verify this connection.

The 1853 Griffiths Valuation head of household listing for Letterluna civil parish shows six Carroll records but no Charles or Anthony. When was Eleanor born? Religious denomination?

Thanks for your response, Roger. The father of Charles and Anthony was possibly Daniel Carroll. The family was Catholic, and settled in Maryland. I really appreciate any help you can provide. All best - Martha Hill
