Josephine SImmons was my grandmother.
She was born in Market Square above the Pub that her family owned. Today it is called An Tain. In 1913 she was forced to sell the pub after running it for 3 years after her mother, my great grandmother Eleanora McMahon Simmons died. The bills were too high and my grand mother was too generous. Her father was a carpenter in Ballinasloe and his name was Thomas Simmons.
