My g-g-g-grandfather was William Caldwell, who was born in County Antrim, Ulster, Northern Ireland in 1763.
Not certain of his parents names, but other family trees suggest that his father was Robert Caldwell and his mother was Sarah Todd. Robert and Sarah Caldwell are listed in Ireland Reaching Out, with a son, William, born in 1760. However, because of a lack of documentary evidence, I doubt that this Robert and Sarah Caldwell are my ancestors or have any relationship with my William Caldwell.
I have no original documentation proving that this is my ancestor, but would welcome any additional information..
