Catherine Kelly was born approximately 1825 in County Cork (as far as I know!) and died 1st May 1913 at St Francis St, Melbourne.
She married William Fitzgerald in Adelaide, South Australia on 9th May 1847 at St Patrick's Catholic Church by Father Mick Ryan.
The next location of William and Catherine was Victoria. William worked at the gold diggings around the Castlemaine/Forest Creek area but it is not known if they went there straight from Adelaide or from Melbourne. It appears William was back in Melbourne by the 1860s and working as a labourer.
