Winifred Lynch was born born in Kilgarlvan, Kerry on 22 March 1839. She had two husbands. Her first was John Taehan who she married 18 Feb 1859. They had two children: Mary who was born 10 March 1860 and Cornelius who was born 17 January 1863. Family history says he came to the United States and died of the flu. She and the children cam to New York between 1865 to 1868 (dates vary). She married John J Sullivan who was born in Coologes, Kilgarvan 01 Jan 1833 on 18 Feb 1921 in Hoboken, New Jersey. They had three children, James an John J who were twins and Elizabeth who was my grandmother. Winifred dies 24 Feb 1921 in St. Mary's Hospital, Hoboken, NJ.
