  • Elgin ship's list lists and accounts for all 15 girls from Clonmel. So Ellen Dalton was from one of the other workhouses. I am leaning towords her coming from either Fermoy or Skibbereen workhouses but can't be sure. Surviving Fermoy workhouse records don't go back far enough. I haven't had much luck with the other workhouses yet but still looking.

    Anyone else got any more clues/leads?
