Edward Anglin was born in Aherla on 3 March 1820 to Thomas and Johanna (Conroy) Anglin. On 7 October 1849, he married Margaret M. Murphy, who gave birth to at least ten children: Jeremiah and Lawrence (both born in Ireland), John, Hannah, Thomas, Margaret, Mary, Bridget, Edward and Joseph (my Great Grandfather). A stonecutter by trade, he immigrated to South Boston, Massachusetts; arriving on 12 July 1852 aboard the "Abby Pratt". Edward died of TB on 19 January 1883 in South Boston.
