Daniel was born c1808, married Ann Meldrum/Muldrum in the Glendermott Irish Church, in 1828 and had a daughter Margaret baptized in the St Columb's the same year. Charged in London for stealing, he was deported to Van Diemans land/Tasmania, Australia in 1835. Deportation records say he was Protestant, could read and write, father was Daniel with siblings, Charles, John and Margaret. Wife Ann was at native place wife mother. Once free in Aust, he married Sarah Hartnett, probably a Catholic from Cork and had two sons William and John. Daniel died in 1854 there and Sarah a year later.
