In search of James Matthew Robert Murray
I am in search of my 2nd great-grandfather, James Matthew Robert Murray. He married Maria Harvison (b. 1801) around 1824. There have been posts on other geneology sites mentioning that they emigrated from Town Wexford (recently updated info from my Aunt Teresa) and he is from a great Jacobite family. Posts have mentioned rumours of elopement 1824 so cannot link to any particular church. They emigrated around 1846, first born son Matthew born 1828 (Munterconnaught Cavan). They homesteaded in Osgoode Township in Ontario and I would love to connect with the Murrays and Harvisons to whom we are related. Cheers and thanks in advance, Colleen Murray.
