I have Catherine Farnan (1830 - 1891) in my tree. She is married to my G Grandmother's brother James Halfpenny (Halpin) 1824 - 1902. . They married in Milan Ohio 1849. Halfpenny's are from Magheracloone/Killanny parish. I assume she knew him in Ireland and they married shortly after arrival in USA. Her death record states Peter Farnan and Bridget Byrnes are her parents. Tombstones in Old Killanny parish may be related: Buried in Olde Killanny Parish Graveyard, Location Killanny, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
