Staker Wallace, whose first name was probably Patrick, was an Irish freedom fighter who was killed at Kilfinane, Co. Limerick by pro-British forces during the uprising of 1798.
He was a local captain of the United Irish and was charged with disloyalty and being involved in a plot to kill Captain Charles Silver Oliver who was pro-British.
A memorial to him has been erected in Kilfinane.
