Mary Ann Flynn was born on the 2 September 1850 at Bulwark Hill Dover, England.
Her parents were John Flynn and Ann Regan The 1851 census shows that John and Ann were both born in Ireland. It also shows that they had another daughter, Margaret, age 7 and born in Ireland. It therefore appears that the family moved from Ireland to England between 1844 and 1850. John was aged 32 and Ann 33 on the 1851 census giving their years of birth as roughly 1818/19. The 1871 census showed that John and Ann were born in Queenstown Ireland. John worked for the Coast Guard. Would appreciate help in finding details of their marriage and births.
