I am looking to find my Irish family who lived for a time in Dublin. In the 1911 Irish Census my great grandmother is listed as Mary Mckernan aged 42, with 7 of her children. Reginald (13); Eileen (12); Hilda (10); Percy (8); Caroline (6); Herbert (5) and Hilda (3). Mary had 10 children "born alive" so three are elsewhere at the Census. My grandmother was Lena (I think Eleanor) born in 1902 Bbut I can't locate her birth date or birth record. Mary's father was John Mckernan who worked in England, in Stockton-on-Tees where he died on 19 November 1914 of a heart attack; he was a labourer in the iron foundries there.
I would like any advice please as to where I might find Lena's birth records. In 1901 Mary gave birth to Hilda in Dublin City and in 1903 Percy was born in Dublin City so maybe Lena was born there too.
Could anyone advise on where I might look please?
