My great Grandfather on my mother's side came to NYC in 1890, where he married in 1900 (I think they already knew each other as they are from the same town in Ireland). He married Margaret Roche - also of the Kildimo area of Limerick.
James was a Hansom cab Driver in the Central park area. In 1917 he contracted and passed away from the flu epidemic going around at that time.
James and margaret had 5 daughters and no son. The only daughter that did not marry was Cecilia Carroll - who before she passed had gone over to meet and see the family in the Kildimo area.
