Hi I am looking for any information on a William Armstrong b1835, d1895. Married to Catherine Brennon. All their children seem to have been born in Oldcastle workhouse.
My grandmother Cathrine Armstrong was b1886. She went on to marry my grandad Peter Geraghty and lived in the Lower Fennor area of Oldcastle. One of her daughters lived in the house all her life. Her married name was Mollie Masterson d 1974. Mollie's Husband was Thomas Masterson.
I have looked at the census but cannot find any information on the Armstrong side. I did find by chance a WWI listing of my Grandmother's brother John Armstrong aged 17 KIA in France 1915. States his mum and dad lived in Lower Fennor Oldcastle. His mother Catherine died in 1919, aged 60. But there was no mention of her in any of the 1901/1911 census of that area. So any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.
