My 3rd great-grandfather, Timothy Mellon, was born about 1814 in County Tyrone, possibly in the Clonfeacle parish. He married Rose McVeigh about 1848 and children Ellen and James were born in 1849 and 1851. The family immigrated to Philadelphia not long after James was born. Children Thomas, Patrick, John, and Harry were born in Philadelphia. I do not know Timothy's parents' names and have been unable to find a baptism or marriage record with his name on it.
