I am trying to find info about my gggmother, Mary McMunn (Munns, Mons, Monds) (abt 1815-1892). According to her marriage record, she married in 1836 in Templeboy parish to Michael Conmy \(abt 1810-1896). He was from down the road to the WSW near Cartron. The record from Roots Ireland did not list fathers' names. They made their home in Kilglass parish where they had 11 children between 1838 and 1862. I think she must have been very tired by 1862!
I found one McMunn or variation, by the name of Robert, on Griffith's Valuation 1857 in Templeboy in an area called Skerries. I cannot find this area on any map. Can anyone help me locate it?
Not sure if this Robert is related to my Mary. And if anyone has any other info about McMunns, that would be most appreciated.
