Ellen Greene’s mother Catherine Carry, born March 20, 1788 in Sherone, Ireland, married William Green. Catherine died June 29, 1874 in Fitzroy Township, Ontario. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Carry (nee Gill). It seems William Green died in Ireland on April 1, 1816 (no birthdate noted).
