Looking for further information regarding my 3 Great grandmother Margaret Martin baptised 17/02/1858 Arles Laois. Father Thomas Martin, Mother Bridget Martin nee Gehan (they married 8th May 1856 Ballyadams Laois). Margaret somehow, and when, is unknown, went to Liverpool. 25/05/1879 she married John Sharples and was living on Constance St Liverpool. Any further information would be welcomed

Thank You so much Miriam. This strand of my tree has been elusive to trace and been down so many dead ends.
I initially could only confirm that Margaret was child to Thomas & Bridget. My Ancestry DNA has matched me with links to unknown siblings, some in USA and AUS.
Could you prahaps point the way in finding out more about Thomas and Bridget's families in Laois?
